Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) sets out what you may and may not do on Tymeline Cloud infrastructure, including VPS, related network, and services purchased on cloud.tymeline.net. It sits with our Privacy Policy, Refund Policy, and Disclaimer. By using the services, you agree to this AUP.

We may suspend or terminate an account that breaks these rules. Where the law requires it, we may also notify the police or other competent authorities. Service closed for AUP abuse is not eligible for a refund, as explained in our refund policy.

1. Prohibited activities

You must not use Tymeline Cloud servers, networks, or accounts for any of the following:

• Spam and unsolicited email. Bulk or commercial email without confirmed opt-in, open mail relays, harvested lists, or using our IPs to send campaigns that damage our reputation or trigger blacklists.
• Network attacks. DDoS, packet floods, port scanning, or any attack against systems you do not own or have written permission to test.
• Malware and exploits. Hosting or spreading malware, ransomware, spyware, botnets, phishing kits, or exploit tools.
• Illegal content. Material that breaks applicable law. Child sexual abuse material is strictly forbidden and will be reported to the authorities.
• Cryptocurrency mining and resource abuse. Mining coins or running processes whose purpose is to consume CPU, RAM, disk, or bandwidth in a way that harms other customers or our platform.
• Copyright infringement. Pirated software, films, music, books, or other copyrighted works without the rights holder’s authorisation.
• Hacking and intrusion. Unauthorised access to systems, networks, or accounts; password cracking; scanning for weaknesses without permission; or social-engineering attacks.
• Fraud and phishing. Sites or services designed to trick people into handing over passwords, cards, OTPs, or other sensitive data.
• Terrorism and violent crime. Content that promotes, incites, or helps terrorism, violent crime, or hate crime based on race, religion, gender, or other protected characteristics.

2. Permitted use

Subject to your plan limits, fair-use rules, and this AUP, you may use Tymeline Cloud for lawful websites and applications, including:

• Business and personal websites, blogs, and online stores
• Web applications and self-hosted software you are licensed to run
• Development and staging environments
• Databases that support your hosted sites or apps
• Mail services on plans that include email, with proper authentication (no open relays)
• Streaming or file delivery of content you own or are licensed to publish

Activity that is legal still must stay within the CPU, RAM, disk, process, and traffic limits of your package. We may ask you to upgrade or stop a workload that persistently affects other customers.

3. Your responsibilities

• Keep scripts, CMS, plugins, and passwords up to date. Compromised sites that send spam or malware may be suspended until cleaned.
• Do not share login details in a way that lets others abuse the account.
• You are responsible for all content and traffic originating from your services, including from users you host.
• Follow Indian law and the laws that apply to your visitors and your business.

4. Enforcement

We may investigate reports, inspect logs, and act without prior notice if we reasonably believe the platform, other customers, or the public is at risk. Actions can include a warning, traffic filtering, mail suspension, full service suspension, or termination. We are not obliged to restore data after a termination for AUP breach.

Tymeline Cloud Services may report illegal activity to law-enforcement agencies in India or elsewhere as required.

5. How to report abuse

6. Changes

We may update this AUP for legal or operational reasons. The “Last updated” date on this page will change. Continued use of the services after an update constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.
